DESCRIPTION:Runners and non-runners alike are invited to support families with seriously ill children by participating in our first-ever 8K\, the timed Kids 800M\, or the 1 Mile Walk for the House. Registration for the 11th Annual Big Red Shoe Presented by TAMKO Building Products is open now at https://register.chronotrack.com/r/72890. Unique features of the 11th annual event:   To meet requests for a longer race\, a new route was designed for an 8K race (the equivalent of five miles).   The first 200 people to register will receive a commemorative stone coaster from TAMKO Building Products.   Any participant who finishes the 8K or the Kids 800M will receive a collectible engraved pint glass and a logoed medal.   Participants who register by September 24th are guaranteed a Big Red Shoe commemorative t-shirt. The proceeds from this fundraising event will directly support the work done at Ronald McDonald House of the Four States and Ronald McDonald Family Room at Mercy Hospital.
