DESCRIPTION:The Newton County Community Coalition is committed to preventing underage alcohol sales and use\, and we trust that your Retailer is\, too. We are pleased to provide you with a grant-funded opportunity\, courtesy of Community Partnership of the Ozarks\, to receive free\, continuing education for your management and staff to help you understand your responsibilities to this great cause. Topics covered include the most up-to-date state laws regarding alcohol\, checking ID\, detecting false ID\, identifying minors\, and the process of compliance checks. We encourage owners or managers to attend with their employees. Thank you so much for your partnership in preventing illegal sales of alcohol and making Newton County safer and healthier for youth and families. As a thank you\, we would like to provide your retailer with various free resources for attending\, including a 2025 ID Checking Guide valued at $28.95. We will also recognize you as a "Responsible Retailer" to the community with a gift upon attending two total trainings and passing two compliance checks. Registration is required for all attendees.
