SUMMARY:Stained Glass 101: a beginners guide
DESCRIPTION:Jane Bartlett\, noted local stained glass artist will be having a class at Old Cedar Mill for those wanting to learn basic stained glass skills. Students will be able to choose from 3 patterns....a butterfly\, a hedgehog\, and a flag....to make a colorful addition to your flowers or potted plant. You will learn glass cutting and grinding\; copper foil technique\; soldering the foiled shapes\; and attaching a wire plant stake to your finished glass product. All glass\, materials\, and tools are provided. Jane suggests wearing old clothes or a cover-up shirt since grinding be messy. Aprons will be provided. Closed toe shoes are strongly suggested. The cost for the class is $40. The class is limited to 5 students although arrangements can be made for additional classes if enough interest is shown. Pre-registration is necessary. Payment can be made by calling 4177-389-0265 Thursday thru Sunday or by coming by The Mill at 17346 Kentucky Rd.\, Neosho.
