Position Summary
Greet customers, take food and drink orders, provide exceptional customer service to students, staff and community.
Essential Job Duties
- Craft Beverages: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to exact recipes and standards.
- Customer Service: Welcome all campus guests promptly, take accurate orders, and process transactions via the POS system. Answer questions about the products sold for customer inquiries.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the coffee bar, seating areas, storage areas clean.
- Equipment Care: Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, reporting any malfunctions to your supervisor.
- Compliance: Adhere to all college and local health and food safety regulations
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Customer service skills
- Cash Handling
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Convenience store and/or retail experience a plus

Working Environment
- Kitchen type environment working with equipment for food, coffee and drink preparation, and office environment.
- Working hours are generally Monday-Thursday 7:00 am to 3 pm
- A neat appearance is required and appropriate apparel must be worn.

Physical Requirements
- Physical work required to accomplish stocking, moving about to create coffee products, customer service, and lifting up to 70 pounds.
